Cars I’ve owned:
2005 Subaru Wrx Sti:
This is the car that started it all. Purchased in July of 2005 this beautiful Obsidian Black Pearl Sti was my baby. After I took her on track once it was over, I was addicted. I started adding parts to the car that would give the best bang for the buck on track. Eventually this car helped me place 3rd at my very first time trial. With a rather suspension oriented modification list, I had the car very will setup for the track. I learned a lot from my time with the Subaru, but after buying a house I had to sell her to continue racing.
1996 328is:
The new daily driver that is not to be messed with. While it may look like a regular e36 on the outside this car comes with some nice engine and suspension goodies that are sure to impress. The modification and addition list to this car is very impressive and its the best marriage of comfort and sport.
1984 944:
My first race car! Bought in 2006 as the start to my racing addiction I spent the great part of that year preparing her for the up coming 2007 season. While transforming the car from a PCA I Stock car, to a 944 cup car, was not easy, it was a lot of fun. This car was easy to remember with its in your face American flag paint job, and open exhaust. This car was sold in march of 2007 for another 944.
1983 944:
When a previous 944 cup winner came up for sale I jumped at the opportunity to move into a better prepared car. All the setup had been already done, the top end of the motor was fresh and the car was not going to disappoint. This car helped me become the rookie of the year in the 944 cup, scoring all top 10 finishes, including a 3rd place. This car was sold in late 2007.
1998 Corvette:
The new race car, bought in shambles in Knoxville TN, and “nursed” back to health. What seemed like a turn key race car, was not and I ended up pouring money into the car to get it into racing shape. But after the first time driving the car it was all worth it. The pure speed, the agility, the sound, everything was amazing.
I’m still sorting the car out, and adding small modifications to it even after months of owning it. It still provides me with an ear to ear grin, and manages to be one of the fastest cars on track.
Cars I’ve driven:
1995 M3:
A good friend allowed me to run his m3 at one of the east coast events of the Redline Time Attack. This time attack was actually in Montreal Canada, at the St. Estache Autodrome. After a few HPDE’s of testing, and preparing the car on a budget we loaded her up and headed north. While at the event the car and driver were putting down some smoking times and eventually we came home with a second place in the Modified class. All of this was done while still on street tires! Both the owner and I returned very happy but after some misfortune the car was retired from Time Attacks.
2005 Scoin TC:
After losing the seat in the m3 I was left with no car to Time Attack for my home track event. I made a call to PTuning and asked them if their car would be available. A few days before the event they worked night and day to prepare the car. They offered me the seat for the event as a trial for both me and the car. The car performed very well and set a new lap record for front wheel drive cars. PTuning invited me to drive the car for the 2008 season as well and I can’t wait!
