I am a driven amateur Race Driver and Senior Systems Engineer. During the week I can be found behind a desk working on computers in Northern Virginia. I was educated at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, ranked number 1 in undergraduate Engineering 8 years running, earning a Degree in Computer Science. People know me as a fun loving guy that enjoys Music of all sorts and Cycling on nice days. I would also consider myself a little bit of a geek since I love computers and technology. During the weekend I can normally be found at any one of the local tracks racing or instructing, and sometimes even under my race car making sure its ready for the next event. Since 2007 I’ve been racing with NASA Mid-Atlantic in the 944 cup, where I became rookie of the year. It was a good season that consisted of all top 10 finishes and even a 3rd place finish. For the 2008 season I’ve switched classes to Super Touring 2, and hope that this season will be even better for me.

I’ve been involved with motorsports since 2005, when I first started with High Performance Drivers Education. After the first event I attended I became hooked. In 2006, after I graduated college, I spent every weekend I could at the track. I attended many local classes, clinics and became involved with nearly all the local motorsports groups. In 2007 I received my race license and started instructing as well. In 2008, even with my busy schedule, I’m still racing and instructing as much as possible.

My current goals for 2008 are, to acquire a SCCA racing license, continue to do well in ST-2 and maybe test for a Koni Challenge team. I’ve already earned a little contingency money thus far this year, and I hope to earn even more to add some parts to the corvette. As for Koni Challenge, some external funding will be needed for that.
